Star Trek Fan-Fiction Chapter 1

The Year is 2375 AD. or for me the year is 355 LE . I find myself lately thinking of the past how things were, how I miss my family and the different sights and sounds, hell I even miss the moon, and the earth I once lived on, but that is all in the past. Now, I live here on my ship 20,000-30,000 light years outside the rim of the milky-way galaxy and about 100,000 to about 110,000 light years from earth give or take a few years. I have on a number of occasions considered returning and having a nice chat with the youngin's asking what are they thinking with the way they have been doing things I realize they are trying to graduate from the violent image of humans in ages passed, but there is a fine line between standing for ideals and just plain stupidity, if anything we as humans should know full well due to history that from the very hello you had better be prepared to go to war to defend yourself and those who depend on you.

As it were the humans currently in-charge of earth had apparently (finally 43 years after I left) it seems someone figured out how to travel at warp speed. For me I never needed Warp drive I did develop it at a later date, but I always used wormhole generators that would create temporary wormholes to get around the Galaxy. Thanks to the wormholes it took me 1 hour or so to reach the Alpha Centauri star system which was interesting over the years I had met many different people, seen many places, both beautiful and others not so much. As things progressed so to did I and the technology I possessed as well as resources.

Fast forward to the present I am currently in possession of a massive Armada of approximately 100,000 Flagships of varying sizes, power, and function just like any other armada, however I am effectively the only living member so to speak in the entire armada.

What am I doing all the way out here all by myself you might ask? Well originally it was to explore as much of the universe as I could, but now I am embroiled in a long and grueling war with what they have dubbed themselves as the Collective Hive they are also known as Borg to my fellow earth born natives, however they are nothing like those Borg, they see them as defective and scraps of the Collective Hive. Seen as unfit and worthless to what I am referring to as the True Borg. I have destroyed tonnes of they're ships, planets, and "Nest" as I called them.

For now I am keeping them at bay, but somethings up they have been showing less activity lately and remaining on the defensive. I'd like to say it has to do with my attacks recently, but I am not that dumb. They're up to something and I need to find out what.

"Helmsman set a course for the nearest inhabited star. I am in need of some information of the Borg kind you know what to do."

[Acknowledged, activating Omega molecule drive. Wormhole Generator operating at peak performance ETA 30 minutes. Entering wormhole now. ]

I lean back in my chair and take a short 30 minute power nap, I hadn't sleep for over a week so I enjoyed the quick break, but as assumed 30 minutes is not a long time no so I fell asleep I was getting back up again.

"Maybe my age is finally catching up with this old man..."

[Hostile vessels approaching, calculating threat level...]

"Don't bother with it we'd be in more danger from a mosquito."

[Affirmative, commencing information acquisition... Now.]

{We are the Borg. Existence, as you know it, is over. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Resistance is futile.}

"I see they're mantra never changes. It is I guess that somethings never change."

Looking at the view screen and hearing the same song and dance made me feel somewhat at ease to know they haven't seem to have changed much.

"Resistance is futile, huh? Have you even finished retrieving information on me to be so confidant, You who don't even hold a candle to what a True Borg of the Collective Hive, I can destroy a hundred of there ships a day without a problem, so what exactly do you defective pile Collective Hive rejects like you going to do?"

I know it is point arguing with a machine, but it can entertaining at time, especially when they fail at keeping they're collective cool as it were.

"Well it doesn't matter what you rejects plan to do it won't do you any good anyway. So Analyse what are the chance of Reverting them back to they're respective races?"

I am not without a heart if they can be saved I will if not then all I can do is give them a quick death and a memorial plaque, of how many of which race of humanoids died here, and pray to the universe to deliver their souls back to their home-world.

[Scanning... Information aquired 2.5 billion Drones reclamation deemed impossible, former world is deep in enemy territory and completely assimilated into the Borg network.]

That is unfortunate, but such is life. Survival of the fittest is as prevalent in space as it is were on any underdeveloped planet, if can not defend what you have then you have no say in it being taken away.

[Reporting, 100 human life signs detected requesting further instructions.]

Humans, huh, and a hundred at that poor saps.

"What is their location and condition?"

[Scanning all 100 human presently in the Borg incubation chamber, condition is varying stages assimilation and age growth. All confirmed to be children estimated age range youngest child approximately 6 years of age, oldest child approximately 16 years of age. A detailed report has been forwarded to your device for your reviewing.]

 "Good work."

Damn what to do? Obviously I can't kill human children that have a place to return to it is bad enough and I know it is hypocritical to save 100 human children when we will be slaughtering possibly millions more that are not human, but I can save the human children I can save the other children with no place to return to I have already had to do this countless time already so I know what to do, not that it makes thing any easier. Looks like I'll be making a trip back home after all... I wonder what earth looks like now. Maybe I can benefit from this as well 1 man can't continue to protect this galaxy all on his own I need to see about some recruiting for volunteers...

[Information Acclimation completed. True Borg interactions confirmed. True Borg have demanded information on subject known as Borg Reaper, to the True Borg as well as the Defective Borg. Information given: Human, origins Sector 001, Earth, all other information given has be deleted or corrupted beyond retrieval... Orders given to the Defective Borg are as follows Complete Extermination of all human life in all forms. True Borg have provided a new ship design to the Defective Borg collective. Blueprints are of the ship-class known as Harvester and Processor. Completion rate of construction 80%...85%...90%... Construction of both ship designs completed. Approximate number of ships 100. Calculating... Alpha&Beta Quadrant survival rate... 0%. Estimated time of completed assimilation of the Alpha&Beta Quadrant approximately 1 month. Estimated Time of Arrival in the Alpha&Beta Quadrant 1.5 hours via Trans-warp corridors. Detailed report sent to your device. Reporting ends.]

"Well wasn't expecting this, but to late for complaining. Alright open the communication channel for all ships."

[Channel Open]

"All ships prepare! This is not a training exercise! I repeat! This is not a training exercise! Prepare for Star system entry and combat. We do not need to be pulling planets and stars out of orbit upon arrival. Borg Drone Liberator Squad, retrieve the Human Children post haste. All others I want all other Borg in this sector exterminated! Helmsman ETA on the Wormhole and then battlefield ?"

[Calculating... ETA 2 hours from now, 1 hour for Wormhole completion.]

"Hm... how long if we send 1 of the smaller Escort groups to buy them sometime til we get there?"

[Calculating... IGN Deutschland/USS Woolworth ETA 1 hour.]

"So the "Pocket Battleship" and "Escort Carrier" group... Good get to it, they'll just have to bust there asses to survive until we get there... those who live and die are up to fate, Ready and launch the advance group the moment you are able."
